Who we are:
West Valley Volleyball Club was established to provide players living in the South Bay an
opportunity to build their volleyball skills, learn the value of teamwork, and experience the life
lessons learned through the enjoyment of the sport at an affordable price.
WVVC fielded four teams in the 2011 – 2012 girls club season with the 14-1 area team
finishing 2nd out of all 14's area teams and the 16-1 area team finishing 19th out of all 16's
area teams. We also held a very successful Sand Court summer league with 34 players and
representation at all the NCVA sand tournaments at West Valley College and in Santa Cruz. We
are looking forward to fielding five to seven teams this season. Also this summer, WVVC hosted
the first northern California NCSVA (National Collegiate Sand Volleyball) tournament with
local colleges represented.
West Valley Volleyball Club Philosophy and Mission
West Valley Volleyball Club is committed to developing every athlete to the peak of their ability. We strive to help
players develop basic fundamentals as well as advanced volleyball techniques in order to achieve success. We believe
that a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and dedication lead to accomplishment. Athletes will experience great
competition and training while learning life skills that will assist them in reaching their full potential both on and off the
court. WVVC aims to offer the highest quality club volleyball experience at a very competitive and affordable club fee.
We pride ourselves in providing a supportive community for all those involved with our teams. We have found that our
players and their families not only bond as a team but also across all teams within the club. All WVVC players, no matter
what age or skill level, are treated with respect by their fellow players and by WVVC coaches and staff. Our parents are
always welcome at any practice and encouraged to participate in supporting tournaments.
